The tennis and padel section situated within the grounds of the Marsa Sports Club is part of a thriving and friendly sports community. It is run by a committee of eleven members, elected at the Tennis Section annual general meeting by its own members.
Tennis is a social sport available for players of all ages and the tennis section of the Marsa Sports Club is present to help you find the best courts to best suit your needs. Tennis coaching can also be offered to players of all levels by the tennis academy at the club. Throughout the year, the tennis and padel committee organises an average of 10 social tournaments for its members.
On an International level the tennis calendar includes a number of international tennis tournaments namely the Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup, ITF world ranking for Juniors, Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE) and European Championships.
Members may book up to seven days in advance by phone on (+356) 21233851, at the Club’s reception or online. Rackets and balls are available from the Club reception.
There are a total of 18 tennis courts, one of which is clay, two are indoor courts with floodlights, and the rest of the courts are hard surface. Eleven of the hard surface courts are floodlit. One of the hard courts is an international court, with a spectator seating of five hundred people.
