The MSC Snooker Knockout Championship 2026 will take place at Marsa Sports Club from 23 November to 19 December, with places available for 16 Snooker Section members.
Organised by the Marsa Sports Club Snooker Section, the tournament will use a knockout format designed to keep every participant involved for at least two matches.
HOW THE TOURNAMENT WILL WORK
All 16 players will begin in the First Round, with eight matches determining who progresses into the Main Championship draw.
The eight First Round winners will continue in the Championship, while the eight players who lose their opening match will move into the Plate competition.
Both draws will then progress through the knockout stages towards their respective Finals.
This format guarantees every participant at least two matches and gives players who lose in the opening round another opportunity to continue competing.
TWO TROPHIES TO PLAY FOR
At the end of the tournament, two titles will be decided:

MATCHES ARRANGED AROUND PLAYER AVAILABILITY
The tournament will run over several weeks, allowing matches to be arranged around player availability and the overall tournament schedule.
Matches will be played on weekdays from 5:30pm onwards, or on Saturday and Sunday mornings between 10:00am and 1:00pm.
Full tournament rules and fixtures will be issued once entries have closed.
STRICTLY LIMITED TO 16 PLAYERS
Participation is strictly limited to 16 players.
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and once all 16 places have been filled, no further entries can be accepted.
Members who would like to take part are therefore encouraged to register early.
WHO CAN ENTER?
The tournament is open exclusively to Marsa Sports Club Snooker Section members aged 16+.
