The Finductive Marsa Padel Open – Men’s and Women’s Events took centre stage at Marsa Sports Club last week, drawing in top national and international padel players for five days of thrilling competition. The tournament, sanctioned by the Malta Tennis & Padel Federation, was a showcase of the sport’s growing popularity and professionalism in Malta.
From the opening matches to the final points, the Finductive Marsa Padel Open delivered high-energy matches, passionate crowds, and standout performances. The tournament featured world-class talent and brought an electrifying atmosphere to the club.
On Sunday morning, the semi-finals set the tone for a spectacular day of padel, with four gripping matches that pushed players to their limits. The finals that followed lived up to expectations, drawing a large crowd and concluding the event in style.
In the Women’s Final, Ivana Kubickova and Julia Polo overcame Sylvia Uriarte and Paula Garbisu Irizabal with a strong performance, winning 6–1, 6–4.
The Men’s Final saw Santiago Antonaya and Borja Jimenez battle past Andrea Zammit Tabona and Jaime Menendez in an epic three-set encounter. After losing the first set 5–7, the Spanish pair mounted a comeback to claim the title 6–3, 6–2.
