The MSC Summer Camp continues this month, running from 1st–10th and 16th–31st August. It’s the perfect way for our younger members to enjoy their summer holidays with fun, engaging activities in a safe environment.
The highly anticipated Cisk 0.0 Victor Pace Floodlit Tennis Tournament runs on 4–7, 18–21, and 25–26 August, with the presentation scheduled for the 30th. This annual event brings competitive spirit and team camaraderie under the evening lights with The Boys performing live on the night!.
August features a full schedule of MCA Domestic League A matches on 1–3, 8–10, 22–24, and 29–31. We’re also delighted to welcome the Western Australia Vets Touring Team on 16–17 August — a highlight for local cricket fans.
Join our vibrant squash community with social sessions on 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, and 30 August. Coaching sessions are also available for all levels:
The Golf Section will host the BOV Monthly Medal on 1–2 and 23 August. The Summer Mixed Scramble takes place on 15–16 August — a great chance to enjoy competitive golf in a relaxed format.
With so much going on, it’s the perfect time to make the most of your Marsa Sports Club membership. From youth activities to adult competitions and socials, August promises to be a dynamic and memorable month at the Club.

The Marsa Sports Club pool is now open after a series of important upgrades. These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to offer the best possible facilities for members.

The Marsa Sports Club Pool Opening Party marked the start of the summer season in style. Members and their guests enjoyed an evening filled with music, great food and drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere around the pool.









The party took place on 11 July and brought together the Club community and their guests for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The pool area was alive with conversation, laughter, and plenty of photo moments. It was the perfect way to welcome the warmer months and make the most of the Club’s facilities.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Events Committee for their hard work in organising this event. Their planning and effort made the evening run smoothly and ensured that everyone had a great time.

The Tennis Marsa Sports Club is pleased to introduce the newly optimised Padel Summer Schedule, effective from Monday 14th July through to the end of September. This schedule has been carefully designed to maximise court availability during the cooler hours of the day, while also offering exceptional value to players during off-peak times.
Whether you’re an early riser, enjoy playing in the afternoon sun, or prefer an evening match under the lights, the new schedule provides a range of sessions to suit your preference.

Summer is in full swing at Marsa Sports Club, and July is packed with exciting events across all sections! From tennis tournaments to squash socials and cricket fixtures, there’s something for everyone this month.
The Perrier Chosen Doubles continues from July 1st to 8th, followed by the Sicilia Outlet Village American Tournament on the 18th – now split into two divisions for fairer play and bigger prizes. We round out July with the Cisk 0.0 Victor Pace Floodlit Tournament which starts on the 28th!
Expect a full calendar with Cashmere Cricket Club visiting on the 4th and 5th, and the MCA Domestic League continuing throughout July on multiple dates including the 6th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 25th, and 27th.

The Sicilia Outlet Village American Tournament 2025 returns on Friday, 18th July, promising a competitive evening of tennis, fantastic prizes, and a social BBQ under the summer sky.
This year, we’re introducing a new format. Instead of a single division, players will be split into two ranked divisions – A & B – based on playing level:
Each player will compete in multiple mixed doubles matches, with winners and runners-up in both divisions determined by total games won across all rounds.
Prize Pool – Over €1,200 in Sicilia Outlet Village Vouchers
Thanks to our generous sponsor Sicilia Outlet Village, this year’s tournament offers an impressive prize pool.
Following the matches, all players are invited to a relaxing BBQ and awards presentation at 21:45, where we’ll celebrate the evening with great food.

The Finductive Marsa Padel Open – Men’s and Women’s Events took centre stage at Marsa Sports Club last week, drawing in top national and international padel players for five days of thrilling competition. The tournament, sanctioned by the Malta Tennis & Padel Federation, was a showcase of the sport’s growing popularity and professionalism in Malta.






From the opening matches to the final points, the Finductive Marsa Padel Open delivered high-energy matches, passionate crowds, and standout performances. The tournament featured world-class talent and brought an electrifying atmosphere to the club.
On Sunday morning, the semi-finals set the tone for a spectacular day of padel, with four gripping matches that pushed players to their limits. The finals that followed lived up to expectations, drawing a large crowd and concluding the event in style.






In the Women’s Final, Ivana Kubickova and Julia Polo overcame Sylvia Uriarte and Paula Garbisu Irizabal with a strong performance, winning 6–1, 6–4.











The Men’s Final saw Santiago Antonaya and Borja Jimenez battle past Andrea Zammit Tabona and Jaime Menendez in an epic three-set encounter. After losing the first set 5–7, the Spanish pair mounted a comeback to claim the title 6–3, 6–2.

This summer, Marsa Sports Club will become the home of Malta’s most exciting sports celebration. From 15th June to 27th July 2025, the Club will host the Pepsi Fanfest, driven by BYD — a 43-day event bringing live sport, technology, and entertainment together in one unique experience.
For over six weeks, members will be able to enjoy live broadcasts of the world’s biggest tournaments on a giant LED screen installed on-site. The schedule includes global highlights such as:
Whether you’re a tennis enthusiast, a football fan, or just love the energy of live sport, the Fanfest will have something for everyone.
In a first for Malta, members will also be able to try out cutting-edge sports games like Robokeeper, Icon Fastfeet, and Batak React. These reaction-based and skill-focused games are designed to challenge players of all levels — with chances to win great prizes throughout the event.
Adding to the experience will be live DJ sets and a dedicated food and beverage zone curated by Kulu, offering a selection of premium food and drinks during peak times.
