SQUASH at Marsa

The Squash Section at the Marsa Sports Club boasts 4 fully air-conditioned courts & 1 non air-conditioned court having glass backs, of dimensions and with markings as specified by the World Squash Federation. This also includes a spectator area which can seat up to 90 persons at a time.

It is now possible to extend the full hour of the match by another half an hour. The charge for the extra half hour booking is €0.60 per player. Half hour bookings can be made only at the time (up to 1 hour before actual use) starting on the hour or half past the hour, and subject to a court being available.


Colette Sultana Wins Gold in Italy
Colette Sultana has obtained a historic result for Maltese squash by winning the Italian Junior Open in the Under 13 Girls category.

The Malta International open will be held from the 7th May until the 11th May at the Marsa Sports and Country Club.

Polish Squash Players in Malta
In April a group of 17 squash players from Poland paid a visit to the Marsa Sports Club to take part in an international squash training camp. During the course of the week over 100 matches were played involving beginners, advanced and national team players.

Silver for Colette Sultana in Austrian Junior Open
Colette Sultana has done it again. Following the Bronze achieved in the Swiss Open last December she has made it one better by winning Silver in the Under 13 Girls category of the Austrian Junior Open in Vienna on 7-9 March.

Launch of Maltese Olympic Committee Centre of Excellence (MCE)
Colette Sultana among the 12 young athletes coming from 9 various disciplines, including Squash to benefit from the GO Youth Athlete Scheme, one of the schemes established by the Maltese Olympic Committee Centre of Excellence in order to help outstanding athletes achieve their goals and get the best results when representing Malta in various international competitions.

A 'Squash Rules Workshop' will be held at the Marsa Sports Club on Saturday 19th April 2008 between 14.00 – 20.30. The workshop will be held by Martin Roberts, Referee Development Officer, in the England SQUASH. Everyone is invited to attend for this workshop.
