'Tecnifibre' Marsa PAR-11 Squash Open 2008 at
Marsa
36 players took part in the recent 'Tecnifibre Marsa PAR-11 Squash
Open' held at the Marsa sports club. The participants played in 3
separate categories giving players from beginners to national team
players the chance to take part. The tournament was also the first in
Malta to be held using the new official ESF PAR 11 scoring.

New Scoring System (point-a-rally (PAR) to 11
points)
PSA(professional squash association) have embarked on proposing the new
scoring system for all ranking events.The WSF (World Squash Federation)
is expected to officially adopt it at their Annual General Meeting in
October of 2008.
